		<description>In Beechmont, behind the Gold Coast, where I live Bush Hens, like everywhere, are incredibly elusive but probably not uncommon. I lived here for 20 years before finally seeing one. I have only once found one by chance. Every other time I have tracked them down by following their calls, which are distinctive. They only seem to call in Summer. 
They are an interesting bird and worth the effort it takes to find them so good luck.</description>
